"Yoga is not about self-improvement; it is about self-acceptance."

Class details
I teach the Hatha Yoga style of flowing vinyasa that allows participants to stay safe and be successful. However, there is always the opportunity for growth and challenge in the student's own time. Options are given throughout the class for both advancement as well as ease.
What does a typical class look like? After a short warm up including focused breathing, we move through a series of postures that often varies from class to class. In addition, I often incorporate core strengthening exercises from Pilates. Every class closes with a time of relaxation.
necessary materials
Any style of loose clothing that allows complete movement is acceptable. Although I provide matts, blocks, blankets, and other types of assisting materials, most participants bring their own matt. It is also advisable to dress in layers. My classes are open to both men and women.
